Women Self Defense Tips – Beware of Burundanga & Credit Card
This story was widely spread earlier:
A lady was putting gas in her car, a man came over and offered his services as a painter and left his card. She said no, but accepted his card out of kindness and got in her car. The man then got into a car driven by another gentleman.
As she left the service station, she saw the man following her out of the station at the SAME time. Almost immediately, she started to feel DIZZY and count not catch her breath. She tried to open the window and realised that the odour was on her hand; the same hand which accepted the card from the gentleman at the gas station.
She than noticed the men were immediately behind her and she felt she needed to do something at that moment. She drove into the first driveway and began to honk her horn repeatedly to ask for HELP. The man drove away but she still felt pretty bad for several minutes before she could finally catch her breath. Apparently, there was a substance on the card that could have seriously injured her.
The drug is called ‘BURUNDANGA’ and it is used by people who wish incapacitate a victim in order to steal from them.
This drug is FOUR TIMES more dangerous than the date rape drug and is TRANSFERABLE on simple card…..
Some facts of Burundanga:
Burundanga is a real drug that is well known in Colombia and a source if widespread concern. Criminals in Colombia have been known to put the drug into food, gum, or drinks of people who, it is said, can go into a trance-like state in which they appear to be conscious but are powerless to resist orders. Victims have been known to make bank withdrawals, participate in handing clothing, furniture, and other valuables over to thieves just because they were told to do it.
However, Burundanga is described as being odorless and tasteless so would not have produced the strong odor…………………………..
Subsequently there are debates on ‘how true was the story’……………….
I’m not a scientist or doctor and not in a position to put professional view but as ladies and women we can pick-up one GOOD SAFETY TIP, i.e. to stay alert and clam to take action:
The lady in the above story ‘ she felt she needed to do something at that moment. She drove into the first driveway and began to honk her horn repeatedly to ask for HELP. The man drove away……..’, to me this is the most importantly point to pick-up.
Girls, Ladies and Women have to beware of surrounding and stay clam for self defense and protection.
The story ending is what we want to see, i.e. she managed to escape and stay safe.
